The park fee — fixed, and the smallest part of the bill

Since 1 May 2026 CONAF sells two tickets: a one-day ticket, and a "2 or more days" ticket valid across any continuous period of up to ten days. For a foreign adult the multi-day ticket is CLP 48,500 (≈ €44) and covers the whole W on one purchase, however many days it takes you. A one-day ticket is CLP 32,400 (≈ €29), if you're only visiting for a day. Tickets are bought online in advance; there is no guarantee of buying one at the gate.

Where you sleep — the real variable

Two companies run the park's sites and price separately. Vertice Patagonia runs the western and back-side sites (Paine Grande, Grey, Dickson, Los Perros); Las Torres Patagonia runs the eastern ones (Central, Chileno, Cuernos, Francés, Serón). A standard W uses both.

Vertice's 2026–27 rates, from its own site (Paine Grande):

So a Paine Grande night in a made-up bed with full board comes to ≈ €153–194 depending on bedding, and the same night camping with your own gear and food is ≈ €11. That single choice moves the total more than anything else on this page.

<aside> ❗

Las Torres hasn't published its 2026–27 rates outside its booking engine. For 2025–26 it announced refugio beds from US$185 per night (≈ €160) at Central, Cuernos and Francés, and fully equipped camping at US$140 per person (≈ €121) — well above Vertice's rates, so the eastern half of the W is where the budget goes. Check lastorres.com for your dates before fixing a budget.
